Tammy has completed her master’s degree in marriage and family therapy at Northcentral University and is currently working towards licensure. She is passionate in working with individuals and couples that deal with anxiety, depression, and relational challenges. Tammy’s therapeutic style is warm, person-centered, and collaborative. She encourages and sometimes caringly challenges clients to deepen exploration, insight, and healing. She is committed to making her clients feel safe to be their authentic selves in the therapy room.

Tammy works from a systemic and integrative approach to address the unique needs of each person. She has trained in Internal Family Systems, a model that empowers you to listen and bring harmony to your internal parts and core Self. She is also a PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator, a scientifically proven program for couples to improve in critical areas such as communication and conflict resolution. She has completed other trainings in infidelity and betrayal, treating low sexual desire couples, trauma, and relational life therapy.

Tammy enjoys working with marital couples, high conflict couples, infidelity and betrayal, significant life changes, complex PTSD, anxiety, depression, and Asian acculturation issues.

Fun facts: Tammy made her career change and pursued her passion for therapy during her first pregnancy. Tammy enjoys playing the piano, has lived in all four corners of the United States, and has watched Inception over 20 times.
