I am a provisionally licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Certificate of Advanced Study in Child Therapy. I obtained my Master’s degree in MFT from Syracuse University and am a Gottman Method Couples Therapy level 1 provider, as well as having additional training in Discernment Therapy. I also have direct experience working in gender expansive and affirming care and am able to provide letters of support for those who are seeking access to hormonal and/or surgical gender affirming care.
While I am passionate about working with couples to improve their relationship and sexual issues, I also enjoy working with individuals who are working on their self-image and children who are in need of a safe environment to process big feelings. I understand that each client and their family system has different dynamics, and I am dedicated to providing treatment that is unique and sensitive to the needs of each client.
I primarily practice from a blend of experiential and narrative styles, inviting clients to show up as their authentic selves and taking into account each client’s narrative with empathy and compassion to work toward healing and growth. I use a directive yet gentle approach, offering new perspectives to consider while creating space for honest feedback. It is important to me to meet the client where they are to create a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship.
I offer both in person appointments at the East Syracuse office as well as virtual meetings.
