Jessi MillerI am a Master of Arts candidate in Marriage and Family Therapy at National University, gaining clinical experience at Alkira under the supervision of Jill Weldum, LMFT-D, CST, CCPT.

My work is informed by my extensive (10+years) experience with Internal Family Systems (IFS) and child and parent support. IFS has deepened my belief that healing happens when we meet ourselves and our loved ones with curiosity and compassion instead of judgment and criticism. Together, we can explore the protective patterns that contribute to you feeling stuck or overwhelmed in your relationships and cultivate more internal resources for greater self-understanding, acceptance, and meaningful change in your intimate and family relationships.

In my work with couples and ethical non-monogamy, I am informed by Relational Life Therapy and IFS. I have participated in Level One training in Terry Real’s Relational Life Therapy and I have a particular passion for providing neurodiversity-affirming care and enjoy supporting autistic and other neurodivergent individuals, neurodiverse intimate relationships, and families.

I am trained in Non-Directive Play Therapy for children ages five and older, taking a child-centered approach by providing a safe space for children to express themselves through play. I view play as an opportunity to better understand a child’s inner world, allowing children to explore emotions and make sense of their experiences in a way that feels natural to them. I offer a gentle, responsive presence that helps children feel safe, understood, and accepted. I also value collaborating with caregivers to deepen their connection, understanding, and confidence in supporting their child’s unique needs.

I believe healing begins when we feel genuinely seen, understood, and accepted. My goal is to offer a warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative space where you can slow down, become curious about your experiences, and reconnect with the strengths, wisdom, and courage that already exist within you. My hope is that our work together helps you cultivate greater clarity, self-compassion and confidence as you navigate your relationships and life’s challenges.

My approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and respect for each client’s unique story. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they reconnect with their innate wisdom and resilience, strengthen their relationships, and move toward meaningful healing and lasting growth.
