Do you or your spouse/partner have Parkinson’s Disease?
Communication is the very means by which we connect, express our selves and our needs, and feel close- verbally and non-verbally. With Parkinson’s interference, communicating love, discussing tough situations, and maintaining closeness can be very challenging, and may become more challenging as the disease progresses.
Alkira is offering a special opportunity for 10 couples: Couples Project
Every Autumn, 10 couples interested in exploring communication are invited to attend 8-10 private sessions:
- To explore what you each most want in your shared life and how to get it
- To discuss challenges and improve communication for now and the future
- To deepen and broaden your communication to thwart and stall PD’s influence
DETAILS:
Scheduling: 1 hour sessions are scheduled according to your availability
Cost: 35.00 per meeting (unfortunately not reimbursable by insurance)
In-person in Syracuse and Virtual meetings are available
To participate, both partners need to be able to communicate verbally and complete a computer survey. Assistance is available for the survey.
