Gottman Method

The Gottmans have researched couples relationships for over 30 years. Gottman’s approach assists clients with transforming how they handle conflict, increasing intimacy, respect, and understanding, and removing the barriers most couples encounter at some point that lead to a sense of stagnancy in the relationship. Emotionally Focused Therapy restores and creates bonds in relationships for each individual and uses a focus on emotion and attachment to help clients change how they relate and connect with each other.  Research studies show that 70-75% of couples move to relationship recovery, and 90% show significant improvement. Internal Family Systems uses a non-blaming, non-pathologizing view to understand problems we experience. Through this lens clients are taught how to relate and take care of their selves, a deeply empowering experience.  The National Registry of Evidence Based Programs identifies IFS effective for anxiety, panic, depression, phobias, and the mental and emotional aspects of physical health concerns, as well as self esteem.
